This is a “sketch” done entirely in Autodesk Sketchbook. This was just me screwing around with the tool for the first time. Trying to determine if it will work in my pipeline. Turns out I LOVE IT! It does everything the way I expect it to. The interface is simply wonderful and unlike working analogue you can undo and markers never dry out, pencils never need sharpening.
This was a very fast sketch. Maybe 20 minutes. If I can figure out how to set down an initial texture for the background, well then, this might just become my preferred method for starting a new image.
So what is a Witah Fighter? Take a look at the image, and you tell me. Lots of spikes and sharp, but organic edges. Nothing fancy and definately not anything worth going further with, but fun to create none-the-less.
