I finally had enough time to start sketching again. Yes I have actually been that busy, working every night until I pass out, and then waking and doing it all over again is exhausting. So I really enjoyed taking the time to sit down and just create random creatures.
I have really enjoyed using Alias Sketchbook on my new laptop. I can honestly say I prefer it to drawing with traditional paper etc. It is faster, the pencils never need sharpening, the markers never dry out and you can always undo.
I am planning on finally getting to work on the painting for the CG Challenge. It has been hard to work on anything else, I just want to paint, and it looks like I will finally have time to actually work on it. Maybe I should be doing sketches for the contest image…

This blog serves two purposes, it houses my sketchbook and portfolio and is meant to demonstrate technique and process in sketching, drawing, painting and digital painting. If you ask nicely I might even post some of his secret Photoshop tricks.
