Is it possible to go full circle in life? To intentionally make decisions to avoid a certain fate, following a long road, deliberate, intentional, only to end up living what you had tried to avoid.
The sad truth is I have no idea why I fought to avoid this life, I love it. I enjoy designing websites, I enjoy creating them, I even enjoy the hassle of cross-browser compatibility issues, heck I love the fact that you have to run just to stay current.
It might be that I have been a victim of my own hubris, believing that it was not art and therefore not worthwhile. What foolishness.
For the last 15 years I have been developing web based applications, I have designed hundreds of websites and I have started more than a few companies. In a very real sense Innovocus is me returning to what makes me happy, and what I am truly and expert at.
This site is only the second custom theme for Wordpress I have developed. It has a few minor issues that I am correcting, but design wise I am pretty happy.
Christian Hammer is a Jack of all trades and I like to think of myself as a modern Renaissance man. I have worked in nearly every creative field, from comic books to medical illustration, And have a classical Fine Arts education (BFA).
I am an artist, inventor, cartoonist, illustrator and Serial Entrepreneur who loves to help other people find their own passions in life, and strive to reach their goals.
This blog serves two purposes, it houses my sketchbook and portfolio and is meant to demonstrate technique and process in sketching, drawing, painting and digital painting. If you ask nicely I might even post some of his secret Photoshop tricks.
