Deep in the haunted woods of Alten-Moor, a piercing howl awakens Dom from his day dreaming.
The howl rings out again, this time much louder, and much closer. Dom being no stranger to Alten-Moor, knows full well what the howl means.
For the last 2 weeks he has been tracking this particular werewolf. Ever since the attack in the nearby village of Everlinks Crossing.
“Come and get me you hound of hell! I’m waiting…” Dom quickly checks his weapons. All seems in order, he notches a silver tipped crossbow bolt, and takes up position just out of the firelight.
Minutes pass...

There is quite a bit going on in Casa De Hammer. Rather than go into a rather boring diatribe of whoa and heartache, which benefits no-one, let me instead spread the joy of positive happenings.
Savvy-U.com has made some very large strides forward, and I will likely be working it full time in the near future. We are currently in negotiations with 2 multi-billion dollar companies and a 3rd company that does DOE contract work. Savvy U will provide the training for new staff and professional certification continued education credits. These are all big deals, and can really get the company...

There is yet again a new comic strip up at the Funniez. I am trying to put the pieces together. New style characters and drawing, color and topic of social interest… Maybe I should have made two strips out of this one… It is hard to tell, as this is still very much a learning process for...

This is just the fourth Multicampers strip and I am already changing the style of how I draw these comics. The new style is, in my opinion better looking, and much easier for me to draw quickly. It also allows me to more radically exaggerate a characters design and therefore to create unique characters that even as a tiny image, are recognizable as the character.
I also hand lettered this one. I’m not sure that is a good idea for the vast majority of the text, probably for the exclamations and such. But the long conversational text takes a very long time to draw and I am not that good...

Multicampers #3 is available at The Funniez. Tonight I finish up 2 more pages for a graphic novel and likely begin drawing the “sunday” strip for Multicampers. This weekend I will finish the 3 other strips for next week. I am really enjoying this strip and hope it is fun for the readers. Soup has some ideas for pushing it beyond just airsoft, by adding some of the geek adventures he is into as well. Sounds good to...

Well I have been very busy, and the freelance work is definitely adding up. On top of that I have been working hard on the Multicampers Comic Strip. I uploaded #2 and #3 today. You won’t be able to view #3 until September 30th. My plan is to have a new one every monday, wednesday, friday and sunday.
I have 3 more scripts from Soup to work on. They go pretty fast, I can create one in about 4 hours total. So 2 a day is very reasonable. Between Soup and I there are so many story arcs, and strips floating about, it is actually more difficult prioritizing the scripts than drawing them
I...

I just finished and posted the first comic strip for “Multicampers”!
Soup has written quite a few scripts for this new strip. It isn’t too bad, time wise, to create.
Funny thing is I have gone back to drawing it all out on paper first… odd how circular everything is.
I just wanted to let everyone visiting here know about the strip being live. A new one is on my drawing board right now and should be out for...

Go live can be quite an exciting time. There is much anticipation and hope that the product you’ve spent months developing will be a smashing success right out of the gate. Dreams of fat paychecks and a life of luxury float through your head, thousands of naked woman chanting your name… Or that could be the complete lack of sleep. It is hard to tell, what with the sleeplessness and all.
From a technologists point of view go-live for a software or web-app is nerve-racking. You know you did it right, all the code is pure and simple, glorious and beautiful not full of ugly hacks and...

Yeah I know, shocking. I am starting a new business. This one has been in the works for the last 6 months and finally goes live, after much work and rework, Wednesday July 1st. It is an E-Learning Portal that only offers Continued Education Courses and credits for professional certifications. Most of these certifications require a certain amount of approved and certified continued education to maintain the certification. If you’ve ever gone through the courses, exams, stress and money to become certified in a professional field you know how likely you are to let it lapse. you...

Every month Gnomon Workshop puts on a contest where they give away several thousand dollars worth of their training DVD’s. My Catacombs painting won said contest in February of 2008, since then I have not entered. Not that I would enjoy entering again, I just rarely have the time to finish a painting to that level of polish in any given month. Well this month I am going to try and get an entry submitted. The topic this month is Gothic Beauty and I have just over a week, in which I am REALLY busy with work projects. As if that isn’t enough I am also going to enter the CG Challenge...
